Title: MOLASSES SUGAR COOKIES Description: Ingredients: 3/4 cup shorting
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup molasses
1 egg
2 tsp baking soda
2 cups flour
1/2 tsp cloves
1/2 tsp ginger
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp salt Directions: Melt shorting in 3 to 4 qt saucepan over low heat.
Remove from heat let cool. Add sugar, molasses
and egg. Beat well. Sift togeather flour, soda,
cloves, ginger,cinnamon and salt. Add to first
mixture, mix well and chill. Form into i inch balls, roll
in granulated sugar and p;ace on greased cookie
sheets 2 inches apart.
Bake at 375 der. for 8 to 10 minutes.
Do not over bake

Guys ... these are my all-time favorite cookies!!!! Delicious .. and Leonard is a very good cookie baker. You'll notice he doesn't include the calorie count and for that I am glad. Enjoy. Love, Lena
