I almost CRYED when I pulled on top of the hill and saw what shape this Cemetery was in... SO SHAMEFUL!!

Shirley; I agree that something should be done about this cemetery. The man who put it online Edgar D. Byler, III. made the statement at that time that it was in poor condition. There is no notation as to when that was done.

Jerry, If you know where Alton and Billy June Harris lived, go almost to their house and there's a gate on the left, go thru that gate and it's top of the hill on the left..kinda hard to find if you don't know where it is due to the fact that it's in a REALLY,REALLY, BIG MESS up there... It used to be a Quiet Quant little cemetery that had a wrought iron fence around it but after years of not being taken care and abuse from Cattle, it needs a COMPLETE CLEAN UP.... I'd love to see it back like that one day....

The CCA work crew cleaned it up last yr. but hasn't been touched it since. I talked with the Comanding Officer this morning and I have to fill out a form and get a couple more things together then he said they have to get a go ahead the they can work on it. This time maybe the FAMILIES can help with the upkeep..
