Family -
Today, Saturday, March 8, 2014, we honor the birthday of our sweet Aunt Belle. She was born this day, March 8, 1910, 104 yrs. ago. She was a very loving Mother to Sarah Virginia, Betty June, JoAnn, Darlene, Sue Karen & Jim; Adoring Grandmother & Aunt to many.
Aunt Belle went to Heaven 10 yrs ago on August 22, 2004, at the age of 94. She loved being a Mother, she loved being a school teacher & she loved her Johnson/Cyrus families.
Much love to All Aunt Belle's & Uncle Raymond's family on this her Special Day. Also, we want to say 'Happy Birthday' to her daughter, 'Sue', who was born on her Mother's birthday.

Well, Linda Jo, you did it again - a tear must fall when so many,, many memories swell up at once. Mother loved life and the families, as you said, so very much; as she dearly loved teaching school and after that teaching little songs and poetry to grandchildren, great-grandchildren and whoever would listen! She devoured her daily newspaper and any other printed material in her sight - until about 2 weeks before her passing. She was such a strong mentor of faith and showing strength of character. We can focus on many examples as we venture through tough times in our own lives May God bless us all as we cherish her memory now.

Also, this day is the birthday of my 'baby' sister, Sue Karen. I remember when we were deciding on her name and I wanted it to be Sue Karen rather than a suggested Karen Sue - so much for history. Sue was born on Mother's 38th birthday. Mother ha a brother born on her 14th birthday; however he died in his 20's after contracting malaria in WW11.
HAPPY BIRTDAY SUE!! Older Sister, Ginny
