Family -
Today, Monday, January 20, 2014, we remember the birthdays of our Aunt Irene & Uncle Frank, twins born this day, January 20, 1913, to our Grandmother Sarah & Poppa Joe Cyrus.
Uncle Frank drove a truck for as long as I can remember, sometimes making a quick stop in Columbus to visit his sister, Roberta, my Mom. That was always a treat.
Aunt Irene was the last of the Cyrus siblings to leave us. She had such a strong will for such a tiny lady. I'll always remember the wonderful times up the 'holler' at the Muncy home & their boys, Gene, Franklin & Ernie always around to entertain us.
Aunt Irene & her boys endured much tragedy with the early loss of her beloved husband, our Uncle Ernest & her precious youngest son, Ernie Lee at the age of only 19, both losses the same year.
We lost Uncle Frank on April 12, 1989 & Aunt Irene on September 15, 2004.
Love & prayers to all Uncle Frank's family as well as Franklin Muncy & all of Aunt Irene's family on this day of remembrance. They are truly missed.
Linda Jo

Thanks, Linda, for remembering Mom's birthday. She would have been 101 today and she would have been proud. One of her biggest wishes was to be able to celebrate her 100th birthday. She didn't make it but she came close. She also wanted to be with Uncle Frank on her birthday and I am sure they are celebrating today. Frank
