Family -
Today, December 14, 2013, we remember the birthday of our dear cousin, Mary Cyrus Mentzer, born this day, December 14, 1918. We lost her on May 19, 2002.
Mary always had a smile on her face & that ever familiar 'Southern Lady' drawl that so defined Mary. Her claim to fame not only was being one of Uncle Lindsey's daughters, but an Aunt to Billy Ray........and oh, how she enjoyed that distinction of being his 'Biggest Fan'.
Mary was a wonderful Mother to Saundra Kaye, Grandmother to JoDell & adoring Sister. Much love to all of Uncle Lindsey's family on this day of remembering our Lovely Mary.

Thank you Linda Jo for remembering my mother. It seems her spirit has
been around me for months.
After 11 almost 12 years I am missing her more than ever, especially
during December. With both of our birthdays so close together she
always loved this time of the year. funny thing.... Most of the times in
our gift exchanges - we would purchase the same item only a different
style. Like the year we both purchased white sweaters for each other,
however we usually kept the one we purchased! And that was
O!K! So many memories..... Ron tried to take her place ...., but now
they both are gone.
