Wow! Adehl mentioned to me in March that the monies that came in after Uncle CC passed away was more than the family expected. They were trying to search for something that would last. Well indeed, this does leave a lasting impression. Poppy Joe has another reason to be proud. I know my Papaw and Mamaw would shed a tear with us. I can't wait to see it in person. Thank to Leonard for taking and posting this photo. We appreciate it so much. Hugs,

Saundra, The same happened to me when my mom passed. The money came in abundance when I wasn't expecting any at all and I used all of it to purchase moms headstone and her bench. We have such a generous, loving, helpful family. I don't know what I would have done without them all. I too can't wait to see this bench in person! That is really a nifty idea having it engraved.

John, for years my mother and aunts wanted us to add a bench in memory of my grandparents. Lindsey & Adeline. No one had time to handle the search. Unfortunately all but Aunt Nancy & Uncle Larry are gone. This is a lasting memorial & maybe others will think about adding another one. We are increasing in numbers and having benches would enhance our experience on the hill.

Thank you for posting this, it is so difficult to bring this all to a closer. The bench turned out very nice, and I'm sure (as Saundra said) my dad wouldn't feel worthy. But I told him many times, that it wouldn't be up to him. We all know that he was worthy of so much more. Thank you all for your contributions, prayers, and most of all, your love. Our family is truly Blessed. Adehl and family
