There will never be another Lindsey Cyrus, my papaw.
What a precious site seeing them filling their plates at the homecoming.. A scene that, unfortunately, I took for granted.
I can hear mamaw saying, 'Oh, Lindsey those good looking beans'!
Papaw does look wonderful. I miss hearing his voice on the phone when I called. He would say, 'Is this my 1st granddaughter?' Or when we were all together.... he would always comment....' I have one mighty fine grandchild......'! All of us cousins would scream... because we knew from past experience, that he was referring to the one that wasn't there. He was a teaser... and it was no wonder his sons are the same way!
He was the most loving, kind and understand man I have ever met. He taught me so much.
Leonard, Thanks so much for sharing this photo and once again bring tears to my eyes...

Having pictures like that is such a wonderful thing to share. He was a great man an is missed by so many I can remember Mom telling us that it was said there was never anyone who could say anything bad about Uncle Lindsey because he had never done anything to anyone he was one of the most caring man and would have never said anything bad about anyone. We sure do have alot of great family members and they are all missed and it is sure great to be able to share things about them and to have pictures to show the younger children may just be able to help them understand how great our family is. Thanks for sharing
