Remembering our Precious Grandmother Sarah on this the anniversary of her birth, October 10, 1872.....138 years ago today, October 10, 2010. How appropriate that so many of her Grandchildren gathered together yesterday at the Smokey Valley Church, not only to celebrate our Family, but to remember the strong, loving woman who set a wonderful, Christian example for all her family. If you were unable to attend, we missed you! Sarah Virginia & her sisters did a wonderful job of putting it all together. Thanks to everyone who participated. Thanks, Linda for acknowledging our participation in the gathering last Saturday. We had 51 in attendance and everone was so helpful to each other. As is always the case, the Cyrus family brings the best of desserts!
Having this 'mini' reunion in the Fall is enjoyable to all - and it seems so appropriate
to gather at the Church where Grandma Sarah attended and took her children. Very
